Geognostic reliefs and investigations for mitigation hydrogeological risk in the Montecorvo location - Island of Ischia (NA)
As part of the project called "Vegetational cut, disgagement, stabilization and transport of coastal and biomass materials to sites ", Realized following the alluvial events of 26/11/2022, at Geotec srl he was commissioned to perform a series of geognostic surveys and investigations aimed at drafting a project of mitigating the insistent hydrogeological risk in an area, preliminarily identified by the designers appointed by the beneficiary administration, located in Montecorvo. Specifically, these investigations consist of drone reliefs, topographicals, aerofotogrammetric, geomatic and geological and geophysical investigations for the definition of any sub-work, as well as for the geomechanical characterization of the rocky clusters present in the studio area, and the consequent definition of the danger of landslides in the rock and falling boulders to which an inhabited area is exposed, that of Montecorvo, in Montecorvo. rapid expansion and below Mount Epomeo, summit of the island of Ischia (NA).
The main objective pursued by the study was the geographical identification of the dangerous situations for collapse phenomena present, through a series of preliminary investigations such as a high resolution aerofotogrammetric relief with aid of SAPR (remotely piloted aircraft system) for the creation of three -dimensional models (DTM) and the cartographic bases of representation, to be placed as a reference for the design.
All the activities above briefly described led to the geomechanical characterization of the area in the studio and to the production of topographical and theme cartography, in order to encourage the best the design choices (orthophotocarta, DTM, frontal orthophoto, geomechanical classification paper, dangerous cards and fall fall).
