COMPLEX OF SAN PAOLO MAGGIORE - NAPLES
As part of the restoration works of the monumental complex of San Paolo Maggiore in Naples, a campaign of geognostic surveys with continuous coring with an archaeological technique was carried out, to be analyzed in order to define the possible archaeological value of the Complex, in consideration of the fact that in this area stands the “Roman theater of Neapolis” (also called the Roman theater of Anticaglia), one of the main archaeological sites in the historic center of Naples.
