GEOGNOSTIC SURVEYS PORT OF NAPLES

As part of the project for the construction of underground car parks and the arrangement of areas outside the Piliero cove, within the Port of Naples, BRANCACCIO Costruzioni S.p.A. entrusted GEOTEC S.r.l. the execution of a geognostic investigation plan for the purposes of a geological-technical characterization and hydrogeological of a specific area of ​​project interest, located in the frieze of the Piliero cove between the maritime station and the Immacolatella Vecchia. Specifically, the investigation plan consisted of carrying out 25 geognostic surveys, 2 LUGEON type borehole permeability tests for the definition of the permeability characteristics of the tuff in at least two points of the investigated area, various samplings to the execution of subsequent geotechnical characterization tests in the laboratory (soil and lithoid tuff samples), and 7 piezometers.
