University of Campania Studies "L.vanvitelli" - Cloister of San Lorenzo, Aversa (CE)
As part of the repair and restoration of part of the colonnade of the cloister of San Lorenzo, home of the Department of Architecture and Design of the University of Campania, a series of integrated structural monitoring activities have been prepared during the work, through type altimetric precision measurements, checks with bidirectional movement sensors and measures vibrational, both periodic and continuously, the latter detected through electronic management and data transmission control units. The monitoring was aimed at verifying any movements or vibrations induced to the historic structures subject to restoration, to protect and defense of the asset.
