RFI – IMPROVEMENT AND ADAPTATION INTERVENTIONS OF VARIOUS STATIONS OF THE ITALIAN RAILWAY NETWORK – VILLAPIZZONE STATION – MILAN

Activities of in situ investigations and laboratory tests on the structural materials constituting the works of art of the Travelers Building and geognostic investigations for the geotechnical characterization of the subsoil in the areas of the Milan Villapizzone station complex, as part of the technical-economic feasibility project for the redevelopment and refunctionalization interventions of the station. For this intervention, a specific investigation plan was preliminarily prepared consisting, specifically, of geognostic surveys with associated SPT tests and LeFranc permeability tests, laboratory tests on the samples taken, seismic tests in the Down Hole, HVSR passive seismic tests and DPSH super-heavy dynamic penetrometric tests.
