As part of the activities of "Restoration and enhancement of the Insula Orientalis I and II and redevelopment of historical entrance", promoted by Mibact, the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum entrusted the writer to the writer

The execution of the "diagnostic and geognostic investigations", preparatory to the drafting of the project of "definitive accommodation interventions of the entire east front", provided for at the homonymous Vesuvian archaeological complex of Ercolano (NA). For this purpose, due to the need to acquire stratigraphic, geotechnical data, as well as the seismic characteristics of the soils that make up the slope, this investigation plan was carried out: n ° 1 geotechnical survey with the withdrawal of undisturbed champions for subsequent laboratory analysis, n ° 3 penetrometric DPSH tests, n ° 3 geoelectric tomographs, n ° 1 sisy MASW, 3 Security Measures of Sismic Fund with HVSR technique.

Finally, a land monitoring plan has been prepared with the use of n ° 3 "tensometers" of the jet-n ° type with periodic measures, on a weekly basis, for an overall period of
Six months of checks.
